AdPay wallet and payments
Use the instructions for the dashboard your business currently uses. Moving money into AdPay is different from funding an individual Google Ads budget.
Fund AdPay inside Mercurie
- Sign in to Mercurie and select your business.
- Add enough money to your NGN Wallet to cover the AdPay amount and fee.
- Open AdPay and choose Fund AdPay Wallet.
- Enter the amount you want added to AdPay.
- Review the quoted amount added, non-refundable funding fee and total from NGN Wallet, then confirm.
- Check both wallet balances and the transaction result before trying again.
The minimum is ₦100,000 added to AdPay, with the funding fee paid on top. At the standard 5.4% rate, adding ₦100,000 costs ₦105,400 from NGN Wallet: ₦100,000 usable in AdPay plus a ₦5,400 fee. Your confirmation quote shows the rate and total that apply to your business; review it before paying.
This NGN Wallet-to-AdPay transfer does not add media VAT or fee VAT. That does not mean Google Ads budgets are tax-free: review the separate budget breakdown before allocating money to an ads account.
Existing adpay.ng customers
- Sign in to adpay.ng.
- Open the wallet or funding page and enter the amount to add.
- Use the payment method and minimum displayed in that dashboard.
- Complete payment and check that the wallet balance has updated.
For bank transfers, use the account details and reference shown in that payment flow, and upload proof if prompted. Card confirmations and bank-transfer reconciliation can take different amounts of time.
These legacy payment instructions do not apply to the NGN Wallet-to-AdPay flow inside Mercurie. Continue using your existing dashboard until Mercurie confirms your business is ready to move; do not fund a second account to migrate a balance.
Unused funds and withdrawals
Returning unused AdPay funds to NGN Wallet
In AdPay, choose Withdraw to open Transfer to NGN Wallet. Enter a positive whole-Naira amount within your available AdPay balance, review the amount and remaining balance, then confirm. This money goes to NGN Wallet, not directly to your bank. If the action is unavailable, contact Mercurie Support.
Money committed to an active budget is not immediately available for return. Campaign spend, outstanding budget changes and reconciliation must be accounted for before that money becomes available. The original AdPay funding fee is non-refundable.
A return to NGN Wallet is an internal wallet movement, not a bank withdrawal. Do not apply an old adpay.ng bank-refund fee table to this movement. Existing adpay.ng refunds continue through their existing support process and applicable terms.
Withdrawing NGN Wallet funds to a bank
Once funds are available in NGN Wallet, bank withdrawal is a separate action. Open the NGN Wallet withdrawal flow, choose the bank account and amount, then review the recipient name, fees, amount received and total wallet debit before confirming. If the withdrawal action is unavailable, contact support.
Check the withdrawal status before submitting another request. A submitted or processing withdrawal is not yet confirmation that the bank has received it. Use the result shown in the app; no fixed arrival time is guaranteed here.
When a payment or transfer does not reflect
Refresh the dashboard and check the transaction status before retrying. If a payment provider shows success but the expected balance has not appeared, contact support with:
- Your account email and business name.
- Which dashboard and wallet you used.
- The amount, date and approximate time.
- The payment or transaction reference.
- A receipt or payment screenshot, with unrelated sensitive details removed.
Payment receipts may come from the payment provider or be available in your transaction history. Ask support if a receipt is missing. Never send your password, OTP or full card details.
